CPA/PTI update

Print this Article

The CPA continues to work on improving our training services. We have a few items to update you on: our code of conduct and new PTI manual feedback support.

Code of conduct
We value your feedback and are currently consulting on the Code of Conduct and Practice for Master Trainers, Senior Trainers, Trainers and Examiners to ensure that our industry continues to provide members, employers and workers of the propane industry quality training programs in a safe, healthy and respectful learning environment. A revised code of conduct can be found on The Grid for your review. Please send your comments by November 30, 2018 to training@propane.ca.

The Code of Conduct is an essential condition to practice as a master trainer, senior trainer, trainer and examiner certified by the CPA/PTI. Please note that it is not intended to replace a company's own policies but rather provide a common foundation for all trainers. Once the code is adopted, all trainers and examiners will be required to sign the Declaration of Compliance, which stipulates that they have read and understood the Code and agree to its terms and conditions.
