Print this Article

On April 18, 2019, the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services and the Technical Standards and Safety Authority are consulting on a proposed amendment to the Training Requirements for Filling Propane-powered Vehicles at Cardlock/keylock Facilities and Private Outlets. The amendment would exempt individuals who refuel propane-powered vehicles at cardlock/keylock facilities and private outlets from the requirement to hold a propane plant operator certificate or record of training under the Fuel Industry Certificates Regulation (O. Reg. 215/01). The CPA will review the proposed regulation amendment and draft a response, as well as key messaging for members. These documents will be shared with CPA members in the following week.
