The CPA welcomes two new staff!

The CPA is pleased to welcome Jeffrey Orman as the new Director of the Propane Training Institute and Regulatory Affairs and Joannie Bouchard as the new Coordinator, Communications and Membership.

Director, Propane Training Institute & Regulatory Affairs 
Jeffrey Orman has a B. Sc in Physics/Computers, B. Ed (Queen’s University) and a Master of Nuclear Engineering (University of Ontario Institute of Technology). Jeffrey has over 15 years of experience in developing and delivering training materials in various sectors, including nuclear. He has created and administered operational procedures, course material and certification exams. He has also performed instructional quality assurance for online courses as well as evaluated courses for chemical production engineering and performed audits on program alignment, methods and instructors. Jeffrey has developed and prepared a completely new one-year certificate program in radiation protection and safety, which involved needs analysis, design, development and instruction of the program, as well as stakeholder consultation, procurement of equipment, budgeting and project management. Coordinator, Communications & Membership
Fully bilingual, Joannie Bouchard has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Management from the University of Ottawa. She has recently graduated and has worked in communication for the Telfer School of Management for the last eight months. She also had the opportunity to be a communication intern for the Parliament of Canada. She will be working on the CPA's communications, social media and membership relations.
