On May 24, Minister Bill Walker announced the government’s plan to address safety issues identified in the Auditor General’s Report on TSSA operations. The plan includes appointing a new Board Chair, Robert Falconi, replacing Norman Inkster and hiring a new chief safety and risk officer by July 1, 2019. The officer will conduct independent audits and reviews of TSSA’s public safety activities on an ongoing basis.  The CPA is connecting with TSSA representatives to determine what these changes will mean for the propane industry and members operating in Ontario.
