Print this Article

Transport Canada recently released changes to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations, published in the Canada Gazette Part II, Vol. 153, No. 9. The changes to the regulations came into force on June 1, 2019; the regulations will be enforced nine months after this date (March 1, 2020) to allow for appropriate balance between achieving safety objectives and accommodating the implementation of the new regulatory requirements.

Emergency Response Assistance Canada has provided a detailed breakdown of the changes. The CPA thanks ERAC for their detailed review. The documents can be found here.
