Print this Article

While Ontario has extended its declaration of emergency again – now to July 15 – it is allowing more businesses and services to open. The City of Toronto and Peel Region moved into Stage 2 on Wednesday, June 24, now joining 31 other public health regions that have already entered Stage 2. Windsor-Essex will remain in Stage 1.

As the province reopens and social interactions increase, Ontario is planning to launch COVID Alert, a new privacy-first exposure notification app to quickly test, trace and isolate cases of COVID-19.
