Transport Canada has updated the status of its pilot project to test electronic shipping documents for the transportation of dangerous goods. Their webpage now includes information on:

Participating companies – view the equivalency certificate recently issued to Trimac Energy Services Ltd. Trimac is the first road carrier for this pilot project.

TC is still seeking participants. If you are a company that currently has the capacity to communicate shipping document information electronically, please contact them.

They are also looking to expand their communication network amongst first responders, companies, and inspectors.
