Print this Article

Transport Canada is inviting you to participate in a consultation aimed at “improving Canada’s regulatory competitiveness and supply chain resilience”. This consultation is part of the Transport Canada Supply Chain Regulatory Initiative, which is expected to provide recommendations on how to improve transportation regulatory processes by reducing the cumulative impacts of regulations as well as the barriers to innovation and investment. It is also expected to provide recommendations on how to facilitate the recovery phase of the pandemic.

The CPA has prepared a response but would like members to take this opportunity to send a clear message to reduce the regulatory burden for our industry. Although voluntary, your participation is important so that the information collected is as accurate and complete as possible.

Click here to participate. Deadline for completing the survey: September 25, 2020

If more time is needed, you can complete the word version of the survey and email it directly to the following address: RegulatoryInnovation-Innovationreglementaire@tc.gc.ca. Please specify in the email subject line: “supply chain initiative”. In this case, the deadline is extended until October 5, 2020.

For further information, contact: Transport Canada, Office of Regulatory Innovation (RegulatoryInnovation-Innovationreglementaire@tc.gc.ca). Please specify in the email subject line “supply chain initiative”.
