UPDATE – ON: COVID-19 Workplace Screening Tool

As members are aware, on September 25, 2020 as part of the Ontario government’s second phase emergency management roll-out, the Ministry of Health issued a Workplace Screening Tool for all employers to administer to workplace staff.

Some latitude for propane operators was provided by the Ministry of Health Emergency Operations Centre:

The screening tool may be adapted based on need and the specific setting. If a workplace is the cab of a truck, that is a very different setting than an office. If the driver also unloads the vehicle and does face-to-face transactions with customers, masking, sanitized hands and maintaining a 2-metre distance where possible are all still essential.
In addition to the workplace screening tool, the Ministry of Health provides online guidance documents for symptoms, testing and clearance
