NEW – Federal: CSA product recall of StaRite and Mastertemp pool heaters due to fire hazard

The CSA Group has issued a recall alert. This recall involves specific StaRite and Mastertemp gas-fired pool heaters with a model number manufactured between December 22, 2020 and January 6, 2021. A connection in the heater can leak the combustible air-gas mixture, posing a fire hazard.

The model number and manufacture date are located on the white label on the back of the heater. Not all units manufactured during this time period are affected.
