NEW – AB: Getting back to normal

Active COVID-19 cases have rapidly decreased in Alberta and vaccination rates continue to go up. Alberta's Open for Summer Plan eases restrictions in three stages as vaccination targets are reached and hospitalizations decline. The province will enter Stage 1 on June 1. Until then, all current provincewide restrictions remain in place, with additional restrictions in high case regions. If the government's milestones are reached, all restrictions could be lifted by late June or early July.
