NEW – Dyna-One Energy Absorber Lanyard recalled
Manufacturer PIP Canada has recalled its Dyna-One Energy Absorber Lanyard with identified manufacturing dates between October 2018 and June 2021. Models outside of this date range are not affected.
Issue: The lanyards have recently been found not to meet one CSA specification requirement and can produce higher than expected maximum arresting forces in the event of a fall in extreme wet and frozen conditions, posing a potential injury hazard. As of January 17, 2022, the company has received no report of incident in Canada, and no report of injuries.
What you should do: Those CPA members that use the recalled Dyna-One Energy Absorber Lanyard should immediately stop using it and contact the manufacturer for a replacement product.
