CPA meeting with ECCC to request changes to E2 Plan requirements

Print this Article

The CPA is pleased to announce that the Baker Risk study is complete and supports the industry’s claim that E2 Plan requirements are too restrictive for propane. Current regulations implicate residential and small farm applications and are a costly burden for those who use propane.

On October 18, the CPA and members of the CPA E2 working group will present the findings to Environment and Climate Change Canada and push for changes to the current requirements based on the results of the study.

ECCC has provided a four-hour presentation window to participate in the presentation and the working group is ready for the challenge. ECCC will use the information presented by the working group to determine if any changes will allowed to E2 plans.
