The Ontario Technical Safety and Standards Authority Board of Directors recently approved the following inspection fee increases for fuels, boiler and pressures vessels, operating engineers, elevating and amusement devices and ski lifts. These fee increases become effective August 1, 2019. The CPA is seeking the business rationale for these year-over-year fee increases from the regulator and will communicate this information to members shortly.
*Excludes examination fees in all programs.
** Excludes periodic Certificate of Inspection and Insurer Audit fees, which came into effect on July 1, 2018. Excludes new manufacturing inspection (shop inspection) fees.
