NEW! Industry input sought on demand for non-odourized propane shipment by truck

As part of the work that Transport Canada is doing with harmonization of Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, they are seeking industry input on the demand for road transport of non-odourized propane.

Please send your replies to the following questions to Rebecca Keeler at rebeccakeeler@propane.ca:

• Is there a demand by industry to transport non-odourized LPG by road in Canada?
• If so, what is the desired quantity, by volume and as a percentage of total LPG transport by road?
• Is the transport on non-odourized LPG not an issue in Canada due to other realities, such as removal of mercaptan before processing, or because this non-odourized transportation is handled by rail or cylinders (where it is permitted)?
