The CPA reminds members that the deadline to register your site to comply with Environmental Emergency (E2) plans has passed. Ensure your site has been registered to comply with current requirements.
The deadline for the remaining requirements of Environmental Emergency Plans regulations is fast approaching. The last compliance requirement to meet Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) regulations states that by August 24, affected parties must:

Note that current language in the regulation requires facilities with a container over 4.5 tonnes (2300 uswg) must be registered. Facilities with up to 10 tonnes (5000 uswg) storage and storage systems located at least 360 metres from a property line, are excluded from this requirement.
