The size of groups for indoor and outdoor public and private gatherings continue to be adjusted by provinces.To assist you in determining if you are able to host a training session, and under what conditions, please consult the updated group numbers below.
In most gatherings - except the family bubble or social circle - a distance of two metres must be maintained and face masks are recommended where social distancing cannot be maintained.

Personal gatherings - 20 people indoors and outdoors from different households, while maintaining a two-metre separation. Large organized gatherings - 50 For indoor and outdoor facilities with separate rooms or large spaces that can accommodate more than one gathering at a time, multiple gatherings to a maximum of 100 people are allowed. |
Proceeding with Stage 4 Indoor and outdoor – 10 If a gathering is at a private residence, then all persons who reside at that residence are not included in calculating the number of persons. This restriction applies to weddings and funerals, but it does not apply to health care or social services facilities. To note, more than 10 people can attend a business or facility that is allowed to open under the public health orders if the applicable distancing measures are in place.

Extended bubble - Up to 6 people can be added to an existing double bubble Outdoor gatherings – up to 50 people Indoor gathering limit with 2 metres of physical distancing for social events, sports and physical activity, recreational activities, faith gatherings, weddings, funerals, arts and culture events, movies in cinema auditoriums, festivals and special events that are run by a recognized business or organization – 50% of the venue’s capacity up to 100 people maximum indoors. Outdoor gathering limit with 2 metres of physical distancing for social events, sports and physical activity, recreational activities, faith gatherings, weddings, funerals, arts and culture events, festivals and special events that are run by a recognized business or organization – 100 people maximum outdoors. Organizers of gatherings will be required to keep a record of all persons who attended the gathering for two weeks after the event, for contact tracing purposes. |
