Shortly after Technical Safety BC (TSBC) sent out a survey asking for stakeholder feedback on their proposed 2021-2023 fee changes, the CPA sent a letter to TSBC requesting a freeze on a fee increase for the remainder of 2021.
Members expressed concern to the CPA about the impacts of a fee increase at this time, with mandated stay-at-home orders and a dramatic decrease in demand. Any increase in fees will add further financial stress to CPA members.
The consultation period is open until January 31, 2021 to provide your feedback on the survey - accessible here. TSBC says the input gathered will inform how fee increases will be structured to better serve industry.
