NEW – AB: Province provides COVID-19 pressure relief valve extension application process

Following discussions between the CPA and the Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA) to request a 25-year pressure relief valve replacement (PRV) schedule relief, ABSA’s Propane Tank Safety Valve Servicing Deferral application is now available here and on their website. Members should email their completed application to deferrals@absa.ca.

ABSA indicates that the deferral is only valid once it has been accepted and certified by ABSA. Members must keep a copy of the form on file and may be subject to audit. For any questions regarding this matter, please contact ABSA at deferrals@absa.ca.
