The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has announced that a spring blitz on truck inspections will be conducted May 4-6, 2021. They indicated that carriers should expect increased attention from commercial law enforcement and an uptick in the number of random inspections on commercial vehicles.
Added attention should be paid to ensure vehicle operators are conducting proper pre-trip inspections and repairs be conducted within the minimum timelines set out in the provincial regulations for your region.
