The CPA and the Association québécoise du propane are requesting that authorities having jurisdiction consider the reimplementation of an Hours of Service Exemption program in Quebec in response to the current wave of COVID-19, the restrictions currently in place, and the implications of severe weather events.
Quebec provided an exemption on April 6, 2020, but then removed the allowance on May 16, 2020.
The two associations, representing over 500 members, want the “Exemption relative aux règles sur les heures de conduite et repos” to be reimplemented to ensure that members have the tools they need to continue delivering propane during critical periods.
