The CPA holds a number of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) equivalency certificates on behalf of members. These allow activities related to transporting dangerous goods to be carried out in a way that do not comply with the TDG Regulations, if they provide an equivalent level of safety. It is the CPA’s view that safety requirements should be consistently applied to different types of transfers, which is not currently the case between Federal and Provincial facilities. Health Canada has issued a joint recall with Saber Grills LLC and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC). The full recall notice can be found here.
