AB: Code Interpretation on Mobile Cooking Operations

In early May, the Provincial Fire, Plumbing, Gas, Building, and Electrical Administrators department of Alberta Municipal Affairs released Joint Code Interpretation 14-FCI-003: Mobile/Temporary Cooking Equipment, which defines the requirements for a Mobile Cooking Operation (MCO - food truck or trailer) under the Safety Codes Act.

NS: Nova Scotia joins Western Climate Initiative Inc.

Nova Scotia has joined the Western Climate Initiative (WCI) Inc. as the province develops a new cap and trade carbon pricing program required by the federal government by the end of the year.
