The intent is to publish the new CAN/CGSB 43.147 standard by the end of March 2020. As a trusted partner in safety, the CPA has been advised that because of the recent alignment with the other Canadian provinces on the Power Engineers, Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Refrigeration Safety Regulation, Technical Safety BC requires that all power engineer, operator and safety awareness certificates of qualification must be renewed. Adams, along with 12 other recipients, were honoured during a special awards ceremony held on June 19 as part of the CSA Group 2018 Annual Conference and Committee Week.
