Ten plus year CG-7 “420’s” pressure relief valve samples from coastal regions are still needed for the UL Canada study being conducted on behalf of the CPA and members to better understand the PRV function beyond the 10-year replacement. Transport Canada is seeking feedback on its proposed amendments to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations to address the needs and practices of the dangerous goods industry, align Canada’s dangerous goods regulations with those in the U.S., as well as seek clarification on terms. The TDG Newsletter: 2021 edition is now available on the Transport Canada website. Technical Safety BC has recently issued a revised version of Directive D-G5 051206 7 Rev: 03 that addresses construction and modification of propane filling plants and container refill centers in highly populated areas. As part of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority’s modernization of its services, it is implementing the second phase of its IT solution. As a result, some of TSSA’s response times may be delayed and services may be limited for all programs from February 18 through March 1, 2022. The CPA continues to work with Environment and Climate Change Canada to affect change to the Environmental Emergency Regulations through the E2 Plan Regulatory Working Group. COVID-19
