Interested persons may submit comments on the proposed Regulations by August 30. Technical Safety BC is seeking industry review and comments on the Draft Information Directive Compliance & Enforcement Program – Maintenance & Use of Gas Appliance Records. This information directive details the regulatory requirements for dealers to maintain records involving the sale of gas regulated products. As a trusted partner in safety, the CPA has been advised that because of the recent alignment with the other Canadian provinces on the Power Engineers, Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Refrigeration Safety Regulation, Technical Safety BC requires that all power engineer, operator and safety awareness certificates of qualification must be renewed.
