Navien Inc. has recalled the propane conversion kit for its Condensing Tankless Water Heater and Combination Boiler because it identified a non-conforming specification. If the kit is installed to use propane rather than natural gas to fuel the unit and is not properly vented, it could pose a risk of exposure to carbon monoxide. The products subject to the recall were manufactured between July 9, 2018 through October 14, 2018. Natural gas and propane H5 Series Fireplace models 1100 and 1150 installed with certain 3- and 4-sided fireplace trim (model numbers 1135, 1140, 1145, 1149 or 1184) have been recalled due to the possibility of convective heat (heated air only) escaping from behind the fireplace trim and overheating.
