Building on past successes of the 2019 Oilfield of Dreams Softball game, the 2020 Showdown on the  Playground Kickball game and the 2021 Volley for the Valley Volleyball game, the Ohio Oil and Gas  Association will be hosting the 2022 Corn Hole for a Cause Tournament. We are asking that each  company donate $500.00 and send two players in a winner take all corn hole tournament. While all  proceeds will be donated to the scholarship fund, the winners will have bragging rights!

 

The Natural Gas Engineering 101 Seminar was held at IGS Energy (6100 Emerald Pkwy, Dublin, OH 43016) from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The Natural Gas Engineering 101 Seminar primarily focused on introductory content for newer natural gas engineers and operators. The content covered topics such as meter and regulator design, hydrostatic testing, stormwater permitting, and surveying. 

The 2022 OGA Annual Meeting was held on Sunday, July 24th at the Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris Hotel (409 Altair Parkway, Westerville, OH 43082). This event took place the night before the 6th Annual Scholarship Golf Outing. There were 43 people in attendance. We welcomed Ryan Gentil with Duke Energy as the new OGA Chairman. Ryan took over for Kyle Bundy with TC Energy. Thank you Kyle for a great year serving as our Chairman, and best wishes to Ryan as he begins his term. Thanks to those who attended this event! 

The 6th Annual Ohio Gas Association Scholarship Fundraiser was held on Monday, July 25th at The Lakes Golf and Country Club (6740 Worthington Rd Westerville, OH 43082). This year we had 104 golfers and raised $23,550 in sponsorships. A special thanks to Dominion Energy Ohio, TC Energy, Mid-Ohio Pipeline, Energy Land & Infrastructure, Symmetry Energy Solutions and The Ramser Family Fund for your generous contributions.
