The OGA, KGA, and MACPG Gas Supply and Control Spring Meeting was held May 18th & 19th in Louisville, Kentucky and hosted by LG&E. New committee chairman Josh Hunkele from Dominion Energy put together a fantastic agenda and should be commended. There were many new, first-time attendees to this meeting. Numerous items were covered including cyber security, audit experiences, and new rupture mitigation valve rule discussions (RMV). On Day 2 LG&E gave a tour of their new control room facility while Chairman Hunkele got to give a presentation covering Dominion’s facility. Finally, the entire group discussed lessons learned in building new control rooms for the benefit of those attendees whose companies are planning new ones in the future.
