Best Wishes for Retirement, Rob Sumner, Esq.

Rob Sumner, Esq., is retiring from the practice of association law. He started Sumner & Associates, P.C., devoted to advising trade association and other nonprofit organizations, in 1990. Rob began his career in associations in 1981 and earned the CAE designation in 1983. In 1985, Rob was a founding trustee of the Georgia Society of Association Executives Foundation. In 1987, he became a lawyer and joined a law firm, but remained active in GSAE as a corporate supplier member.

 

Rob served on the ASAE Governmental Affairs Council and the ASAE Legal Section. He was recognized by GSAE as Corporate Member of the Year (2004) and as one of GSAE’s 90 Movers & Shakers (2007). He has remained active in GSAE and ASAE for 35 years. Read more about his career here.
