Atlanta Named a 2016 Top Meeting City

William Pate, President & CEO, and Aprell King, Sales Manager, Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, are delighted to announce that Atlanta has been ranked #12 among 2016's Top 20 Meeting Cities! To create the list, SmartAsset analyzed 102 of the largest U.S. cities using factors such as the number and size of hotels in the city, the average room rate, the average cost of a three-course meal for one person at a mid-range restaurant, the distance between downtown and the airport, the number of violent crimes per 100,000 people, and the number of restaurants and other entertainment venues as a percentage of all businesses.
