Jay Markwalter, TMP, Director of Sales for the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), has accepted a new position as the Executive Director of the Georgia Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (GACVB). Markwalter has served in the Destination Marketing Organization industry for more than 15 years, proving to be a leader in tourism-based economic development. In his new role, Markwalter will lead GACVB’s mission to serve as the unified voice for Georgia’s tourism industry. |
