Best Wishes Aubie Knight, CIC, AAI, CRM

Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) is excited to announce the selection of the association's new Chief Executive Officer. Aubie W. Knight, CIC, AAI, CRM will join the IIANC staff on January 1, 2015. "During a very exhaustive search for our next CEO it became apparent that Aubie Knight was the clear choice to lead us forward," commented Bobby Salmon, IIANC Chairman of the Board.

Knight comes to IIANC with over 18 years of Big "I" association experience and 21 years as a licensed insurance agent. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia (IIAG), having held the top leadership position since 2010. During his 18 year tenure with IIAG, Knight has gained senior management experience in all aspects of the association's operations as well as having served on numerous IIABA committees and task forces at the national level. Prior to joining the IIAG staff in 1996, Knight worked as a producer for Mutual of Omaha Companies where he was named Rookie of the Year in 1992.
