Partridge Inn, Round 2 Ahead

Though much has changed aesthetically at The
Partridge Inn, in Augusta, Georgia, the renovations aren't finished. The second
phase of construction at the historic Walton Way hotel will begin May 4. Once
completed, it will leave the bar, restaurant and front lobby entirely revamped
with modern furnishings and a new concept, designed with the millennial age
group in mind. "The look is really going to be definitely something more
up-to-date but still maintaining its charm as a historic hotel," said Greg
Winey, the president of Atlanta-based NorthPointe Hospitality Management, which
oversees the property. "The restaurant is a little more edgy. The bar is a
