In Darien, Georgia, the hometown of the bride, Missy Brandt, Senior Sales Manager, Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau, married William Wilson on November 14, 2015. As they met as board members of the McIntosh Historic Preservation Commission, they married in the historic St. Cyprian's Church built after the Civil War by freedmen. The Maid of Honor was Will's daughter, Georganna Wilson, and the Best Man was Missy's son Brantley Lenderman. The ceremony was performed by Missy's father, Dr. Lee Brandt, who is a local minister. After the ceremony, the reception was held at a private home on the Sapelo River at Pine Harbor.
