The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau (DMCVB) presented Cobo Center the William F. McLaughlin Hospitality Award for Service Excellence at the 2018 Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Awards. This is the only award in the state of Michigan that honors customer service excellence in businesses. Greg DeSandy, Director of Sales & Event Services said "We are humbled by the recognition of the facility and our associates by the community and DMCVB at the recent Rose Awards. It's clear that deliberate focus on service and facilities has paid off. Plans are already underway to re-imagine the customer experience so that we can continue to elevate everything we offer."
