2018 Holiday Luncheon Thank Yous
Atlanta Community Food Bank Food Drive Thanks to your generosity, we raised $220 and donated 333 pounds of food to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, providing 1,158 meals for people in need in the area. You may still make a monetary contribution to ACFB here.
Silent Auction The Holiday silent auction raised over $9,300 last week – including almost $1,000 from the Wine Toss! Thank you for supporting GSAE’s educational programming this year! A list of happy winners has been sent to the donors – if you have any questions, please contact Jane Anne.

GSAE enjoyed a very successful 2018 – including the implementation of 2 new programs (October's Small Staff SIG Summit and the Tech Showcase in November), offering more than 45 hours of CAE credits and launching the sixth Leadership Academy class!

Bryan Tolar is proud to announce the formation of his government affairs firm, Tolar Capitol Partners, Inc. Bryan spent 20 years championing Georgia’s agribusiness, rising to president of the Georgia Agribusiness Council before leaving the organization in September to establish his own firm. The National Poultry & Food Distributors Association (NPFDA) Search Committee has selected Cece Corbin, CMP, as the new Executive Director. Corbin began work with the organization in mid-November and will officially take the position upon the retirement of Kristin McWhorter, CAE. McWhorter will stay on in an advisory capacity for a limited time. Cece has been an integral part of the association community for years and has been recognized numerous times for her leadership in GSAE and SCSAE. Congrats, Cece!

Plan to join GSAE in Washington, D.C., March 28-29, 2019 to participate in American Associations Day, the only legislative fly-in for association professionals. There is no registration fee for this event and it includes 3.25 CAE credit hours. Additionally, a scholarship is available for attendees from outside the DC-metro area.
