Mike Dunham, CEO of the Associated General Contractors of Georgia, Inc. (AGC Georgia), was recently installed as Chair of the AGC of America Executive Leadership Council. This is a group of all 89 chief executives from AGC chapters. In his role as chair of the AGC ELC, he is serving on the 24-member AGC of America Board of Directors. American Associations Week (AAW), June 15-June 18, is a free, week-long virtual education and advocacy event to help inform policymakers and urge Congress to support the association community. AAW will highlight meaningful ways that associations strengthen society and provide programming and resources to amplify these messages and mobilize your stakeholders to help inform members of Congress.
Throughout the program, ASAE will provide tools for you to share with Congress and the media about the positive role your organization plays in American society and how your organization and constituencies are impacted by COVID-19. All the while, ASAE will host policy webinars, digital education programs, virtual town halls and fireside chats. AAW is completely free to all. Learn more.

In light of COVID-19, the CAE Commission has made a few adjustments for those renewing their CAE in 2020:
- The renewal deadline has been extended from December 31, 2020 to March 31, 2021.
- The cap on self-study has been lifted. All 40 credits needed for renewal may be taken through any amount of live and/or approved self-study courses.
- The early-renewal discount will be extended to completed renewals submitted through March 31, 2021. The discounted renewal fee is $275 for ASAE members and $425 for nonmembers.
These additional options apply only to the renewal cycle for those originally due to renew by December 2020. Learn more.
