GSAE's Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) offer one of the best resources for association executives and professionals. These self-directed groups of GSAE members focus on a particular area and delve into various topics within that area.

The 2024 Nominating Committee includes at-large GSAE association executive members in good standing in addition to GSAE Past Chair Mike Pennington, CAE; Chair Val Smith, CAE; and Chair Elect Amy Kane, CAE, MBA. Serving this year: Becca Colbert, CMP; Jay Markwalter, LEC, TMP; Dawn Morton-Rias, Ed. D., PA-C, ICE-CCP, FACHE; Monica Smith, CMP, CASE, CDME; and Lori K. Spear, CAE.
Four seats for individual association member directors and one seat for a corporate supplier (hospitality) director will be available for two-year terms, beginning January 1, 2024. Nominations will also be accepted for the one-year Treasurer position for both the Society and the Foundation Board of Trustees.

This position is responsible for escalations concerning credentialing topics and working with the Customer Service Center to ensure service excellence and that credentialing-related policies, procedures, and processes are documented and strictly followed.
