Update: Letter and support will be shared September 19. There's still time to join the coalition!

ASAE has worked hard to build support for the Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act, which would expand economic opportunities and increase access to valuable postsecondary credentials. The Tomorrow’s Workforce Coalition was established to help build maximum Congressional support for the Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow’s Workforce Act. If credentials, skills training, or expertise are important to your sector, to your organization, or to your stakeholders, this coalition's work will support you.

Join us and add your organization.

There is NO COST to join, and we invite you to read the flyer for detailed information regarding scope, efforts, time requirements, etc. If your organization joins, you are welcome to participate in the coalition as much or as little as you prefer.

ICYMI, on Friday, September 1, members of Nevada’s Congressional delegation wrote to FTC Chairwoman Khan calling for a final rule to crack down on business impersonation fraud. In the letter, they write “The proliferation of impersonation fraud has proven especially damaging to the face-to-face business events industry, as impersonators have more and more regularly sought financial gain by advertising for fake exhibitions, trade shows, and other business events. This targeted fraud threatens to put a damper on an industry that has long been a driving force for economic growth—for event organizers, host venues, and surrounding communities.”

The Congressional letter was led by Rep. Susie Lee and signed by Senators Rosen and Cortez Masto, and Reps. Horsford and Titus. A copy is available here. We encourage you to amplify their letter through social media platforms, thanking the Congressional leaders for their advocacy, and noting that this is an issue impacting your organization.
