Houston Chronicle Executive Editor Visits With AGC Houston Leaders

Jeff Cohen, Executive Vice President and Executive Editor of the Houston Chronicle, spoke about the newspaper's editorial practices, policies and answered questions fielded by AGC Houston members on October 1 at the Patrick J. Kiley Excellence In Leadership breakfast series. Cohen, who led a spirited discussion, was invited to speak by Stan Marek, Marek Brothers Systems, Inc. and Patrick J. Kiley Excellence In Leadership scholarship program chair. The program will continue through spring of 2016 and culminate in May with the presentation of scholarships to high school and college students pursuing a degree in a construction-related discipline. To date, AGC Houston has given $393,000 in scholarships since the program began 19 years ago.
