Leadership AGC Kicks Off Program for Next Generation of Construction Leaders

Galveston Island’s Moody Gardens was the beautiful setting for Leadership AGC’s sixth kick-off, attended by a cross section of AGC Houston members on Sept. 26. Eighteen young professionals have been selected to take part in the nine-month program that is being mentored by Construction Leadership Council leaders as well as past Leadership AGC participants. The two-day program featured group activities developed to overcome obstacles, increase trust, break down barriers, encourage problem-solving techniques and create support systems.
Over the course of eight months, the participants will hone numerous skills and gain a greater understanding of the leaders who helped to shape AGC, the commercial construction industry and the city.
