Vaughn Construction Breaks Ground On New C3 Project

In late June, Vaughn Construction announced the ground-breaking of University of Houston's new medical school facility. University of Houston's College of Medicine will be the 13th medical school in Texas. A 43-acre tract of undeveloped property southeast of the campus proper over a building in the Texas Medical Center for the planned college, which would be the first new medical school in Houston in nearly half a century.
The Construction Career Collaborative (C3) project will bring more opportunities for small businesses and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs).
This is also the 49th C3 Project, and it represents a further expansion into a key segment of the commercial construction market, higher education.
