With great heartache, we announce the passing of co-owner and President of Diversified Thermal, Jay “Bucky” Chesser. We ask that you pray for his family in this difficult time. Our thoughts are with his wife, Yvonne Chesser, their four children, and grandchildren.

Bucky founded Diversified Thermal in 1990 and led us from a five man operation in 1990 to what we are today. Mr. Chesser represented the company for 30 years on thousands of projects. He had a remarkable skill in evaluating new projects, estimating, and negotiating contracts. We do believe that above all, it was his ability to create and maintain relationships that distinguished him. He laughed and played horseshoe with our warehouse crew until they ran off. He mentored our estimators and shared exciting projects. He put on his apron and fried fish for 150 members of his working family at our Christmas party. Bucky gifted his family, friends, coworkers and clients with many memories. He has certainly left us a legacy to live up to.

As we mourn this loss with heavy hearts, Diversified Thermal will continue to operate as normal, though for now it feels anything but normal. Please be aware that we will be closed on Friday, August 5, 2022, to allow our employees to pay their respects at his services. Information follows if you would like to attend.
