Join us for Introduction to Construction Plan Reading & Specification Documents!
This class will focus on the fundamentals of construction plans and specification document reading. Each of the class session meets every Monday for five consecutive weeks on September 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, and October 7th, 2024.
Course Objectives:
The following topics are covered in this class: Construction Plans and Specification Documents; Language and Symbols; CSI Divisions; Scales; Substructures Superstructures; Interior Finishes; Conveying Systems and MEP Systems. This course is designed to give professionals, craftspeople, drafters, or anyone on a construction project, a better understanding of how to read a set of construction documents.
Target Audience:
Project team members including but not limited to: Superintendents, Project Managers, Subcontractors, Project Executives, Owners, Craftspeople, or anyone wishing to expand their current skillset.

AGC of America’s New Supervisory Training Program

Join us for the new edition of AGC’s six-unit STP program right from your job sites. Participating in classes has never been more convenient. These engaging sessions are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays, from 2 PM to 6 PM Eastern Time (11 AM – 3 PM Pacific Time).

AGC of America Education & Research Foundation Scholarship
Applications Now Open for 2025 - 2026 Academic Year
Each year, the AGC Education and Research Foundation offers undergraduate and graduate-level scholarships to students enrolled in ABET or ACCE accredited construction management or construction-related engineering programs. The application closes November 1, 2024.
Over $10 million in scholarships have been awarded to more than 4,000 students attending colleges and universities across the country. Through endowments made by AGC members and supporters, as well as AGC Chapters, the Education and Research Foundation awards over 100 scholarships each year to students dedicated to pursuing a career in the construction industry.
