2025 Economic Forecast and Trends with Pat Kiley

Join SMPS Houston and AGC Houston for an exclusive event featuring economic expert Pat Kiley. This session will explore recent industry trends, the current landscape, and the future outlook of Houston's AEC sector. Attendees will gain valuable insights to guide strategic planning and identify growth opportunities for the year ahead.

About Our Speaker:

In June 2020, after 36 years of direct involvement in the Commercial Construction Industry in Houston, Pat changed paths to write full time. He formed Kiley Literary Legacies to write and speak about the industry and the great companies and people that make it up. In addition to writing articles and blogs about the market and the issues, he writes historical tribute books about construction companies, their founders, and leaders. He is also writing a history about the companies and people that created Houston’s Built Environment from 1900-2020.

He retired after 20 years as Chief Staff Executive of the Houston Chapter AGC in 2004, and, with partner Candace Hernandez, formed Kiley Advisors to work as a support resource on Strategy and Leadership. Their firm was acquired in 2017 by the largest consulting firm in the industry, FMI.

He has been honored by the Houston AGC with Honorary Life Membership, The Master Builder Award and a named scholarship. In 2007, he was inducted into the Constructor Hall of Fame at Texas A&M University.

Pat has a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and in the summer of 2017, he completed a writing course at Cambridge University in England.
