Even with a massive rain storm Friday night, more than 4,000 people converged on the Sam Houston Race Park to enjoy the festivities at the client networking parties hosted by 38 cook teams. On Saturday, the clouds parted in time to welcome 4,000 more attendees to the family fun day, which featured numerous children activities in the Kids’ Zone. To all of our cooking teams, sponsors and volunteers, thank you for making this one of the best barbecue cook-offs in AGC Houston history. Congratulations to the teams that placed and took home an award, and a special thanks to the 2017 Barbecue Cook-off Committee, our sponsors and volunteers for making this such a successful event.
