National Multiple Sclerosis Hall Of Famer Curt Martin Rides Again In MS 150 Race
Curtis W. Martin, Co-Managing Partner Peckar & Abramson's Texas offices, participated for the 15th year in the BP Multiple Sclerosis (MS) 150. The annual 170-mile bicycle ride from Houston to Austin took place on April 28-29, 2018. Martin, who has raised more than $17,500 so far this year for MS, has ridden the event since 2001. Martin also served as Ride Marshal, helping other riders by changing flat tires along the route and ensuring others rode safely and comfortably.
In November, 2016, Martin was inducted into the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's "Fundraising Hall of Fame" in recognition of his efforts over the last 17 years riding in the BP MS 150. Curt has been one of the event's top 300 fund raisers since 2008 raising more than $140,000 for this worthy charity.
Since the event's inception in 2001, Curt has been a member of the Houston Builders Team, a group of contractors and designers who ride together each year, and are supported by the Houston Associated General Contractors (AGC) and American Institute of Architects (AIA).
