We're all eager to get back to in-person conferences, but you won't want to miss the exceptional lineup of environmental sessions we've assembled for 2021's Construction Safety, Health & Environmental Virtual Conference July 20-22. That's why we've slashed the price for this year's virtual conference and made it free to all AGC members. Participate at your own pace and learn about climate, community, corporate transparency, species and water issues.
With your membership, you will gain access to three days worth of sessions highlighting the most critical safety, health and environmental compliance and risk issues impacting the business of construction. The virtual setting provides flexibility to accommodate your schedule. And you can even pursue continuing education credits as your time allows: watch live, view session replays or a mix of both. This is made possible with the help of the event sponsors: please extend your thanks to HCSS Software Solutions, InEight, Milwaukee Tools, Mobile Medical, Procore and Zurich. AGC Charities, Inc. is organizing a volunteer project for Annual Convention attendees as part of its Operation Opening Doors project. On Monday, September 20, we are asking volunteers to help us make needed renovations to the facilities of Give Kids the World Village. The group’s village is an 89-acre, whimsical resort in Kissimmee, Florida, that provides week-long, cost-free vacations to critically ill children and their families. Since 1986, Give Kids the World Village has welcomed over 176,000 families from all 50 states and 76 countries.
Give Kids the World Village is a truly magical place, but it is not immune from basic maintenance needs. After meeting with the team there, we have identified a handful of projects that a group of volunteers can handle during a single, rewarding day. These projects include replacing a protective fence around the Village’s pond and rehabbing some of the Village’s bathrooms. Watch this video here to learn more about the project. With your help, we can make this year’s AGC Charities Operation Opening Doors project a success.
