AGC Houston Hosts Safety Committee Meeting

There was a full house at the AGC Houston Safety Committee meeting on April 25th! Attendees received an OSHA update, heard from DEWALT about their new ergonomic line of concrete tools, learned about mental health in the workforce from the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI), received advice from Hendershot Cowart P.C. on managing OSHA inspections in the new era of enforcement, heard from Anthony "Tony" Stergio of Andrews Myers, P.C. on managing responsibilities as an employer regarding temporary workers, and received event updates for the annual Safety Stand-Down campaign, Fall Prevention Alliance, and the Midyear Safety Meeting. Huge thanks to Hendershot Cowart P.C. for sponsoring breakfast!

The AGC Houston Safety Committee members are dedicated to supporting the enhancement of jobsite safety at every level. Each meeting is structured to provide timely information and training to address the challenges of maintaining a safe and healthful workplace in today’s fast-paced environment.
